Every piece ships with Bee's Oil. Reapply every other month or whenever the wood looks dry. It's the only conditioner we recommend. Vegetable oils turn rancid over time and leave a sticky surface that's hard to undo.

Usually, yes. Use a non-abrasive scrub pad with lemon juice and pumice dust to remove built-up oil. It may take a few passes. Once clean, wash with warm soapy water, dry thoroughly, and treat with Bee's Oil.
