Nature creates extraordinary art, and our exclusive Spalted maple bowls showcase this perfectly.  The process starts with reclaiming “Green” Hard Maple logs from the Midwest.  Once the logs are onsite, we bury those logs 6′ in the ground to start the Spalting process.  After 1-2 years, the Spalting will start to occur in the logs and are ready to move into production to be made into incredible bowls that each tell it’s own story.  Each features distinctive dark lines and patterns that occur only through nature’s artistic process—creating one-of-a-kind pieces no craftsman could replicate.

The Spalting process ensures no two bowls are alike.  Each bowl will vary.
