17″ Harvest Bowl

Description

Some bowls sit at the center of the table and earn their place. The Harvest Bowl is one of those.

At 17 inches long and 14 inches wide, with sides that rise to just over 6 inches at their peak, it holds more than most bowls in the kitchen — a full fruit haul, a generous salad for eight, a gathering of rolls still warm from the oven. The shape follows the wood, turned with the same attention to grain and proportion that Holland Bowl Mill has brought to every piece for four generations.

Each bowl is finished with Bee’s Oil, a food-safe blend that draws out the natural color of the wood — the warm amber of cherry, the cool, deep tones of walnut. Both deepen with use and age into something that looks less purchased and more inherited.

Care Instructions Hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry promptly. Apply a food-safe oil or Bee’s Oil occasionally to keep the wood conditioned. Do not submerge, soak, or put in the dishwasher.
