12" Fractal Bowl

A family-size bowl for a big salad, a batch of popcorn, or fruit between meals. Substantial without being unwieldy, and large enough to anchor a table. At this size, the burn has more room to wander, so there's more of the pattern to take in.

Each Fractal bowl is turned from solid Michigan hardwood, then burned by artist Mike Wonser using about 12,500 volts of electricity. The current finds its own path through the wood, so the pattern on your bowl exists only on your bowl.
